Grow crops on a moon, fix your stranded ship and uncover why you were sent there.
Your scout ship came down hard in a crater on a little moon, far out in space. You have a shovel, a handful of moonberries and a cabin full of broken parts. Somewhere out past the rings, a green moon called Verdana is waiting.
Orbital Acres is a cozy farming game with real low-gravity physics. Grow strange crops in moon dust, fix your ship one system at a time, and find out why you were sent here.
GROW A GARDEN IN THE DUST
Dig plots, plant moonberries and Saturn squash, and water them every morning. Harvests bounce in one-sixth gravity. Later, frost ferns from the cold flats past the crater rim join the garden.
FIX YOUR SHIP
Salvage scrap from old wrecks and falling debris, then craft wire, plating, glass and circuits at the workbench. Bring the power back, then the food synthesizer, the water reclaimer, the radio, the airlock and finally the engines.
PLAY AS AN ASTRONAUT,
A ROBOT OR AN ALIEN
Each has its own ship, its own cabin and its own way of living: the robot runs on charge and snacks on moon rocks, and the alien sings to its plants. Pick your colors and make them yours.
EXPLORE THE CRATER
Melt ice with your ray gun, sweep for buried iron with a metal detector, tend a sun-powered smelter, and follow the old waystones. Out on the Frost Flats, a piece of your ship's past is waiting.
MAKE IT HOME
Press moon rock into bricks and build paths, walls, gates and a statue of your own kind. Light your farm with rock lamps, water it with sprinklers and store your harvest in chests.
MEET THE NEIGHBORS
Little moon critters hide under the rocks. Leave them berries and see what they bring back.
