Backcourt: Basketball Manager

Developed by ENES ZORKOL
5.0/5 · 1 ratings

Found and manage your own basketball club through the salary cap, roster building, and live game coaching decisions.

You are not on the bench. You are running the club.

Backcourt is a basketball management game. You found your own club — the city, the name, the kit colours and the opening budget are yours. Everything after that is on you: build the roster, live under the cap, put the right five on the floor and chase a title in a twenty-club league.

A POOL BUILT ON REAL DATA

364 players. Positions, ages, annual salaries and the balance of power are derived from real 2025-26 season data; the players carry FICTIONAL names. Overall rating rewards genuine impact, not the role player who pads a box score.

LIVE MATCHES

Games play out live on the floor. You call the timeout, you make the substitution, you change the scheme mid-game. The last minutes are their own game: intentional fouling, a set play out of the final timeout, and foul-trouble protection. In a hurry? Skip to the result — but if the game is tight, Backcourt offers to let you play the finish.

ROSTER MANAGEMENT

Every player carries energy. Minutes burn it; age and your facilities decide how fast it comes back. Hand out minutes yourself, rest a tired player for a week, lock in your starting five. If a player is a poor fit for his role, the squad screen tells you.

TRANSFERS AND TRADES

A transfer market, free agents, a league-wide player search and a trade table. Swap players and draft picks, balance the salaries, then sit down at the contract table and argue over money and years. At season's end, one window handles every expiring deal.

SCOUTING,

DRAFT AND DEVELOPMENT

A prospect's potential is not a number, it is a range — buy a scouting report and it narrows. You set the weekly training focus and run individual drills as mini-games. The academy intake turns up gems and wonderkids; draft night brings the lottery, your picks and a full prospect board.

RUNNING THE BUSINESS

Build and upgrade six facilities: gym, medical staff, academy, arena, analytics and recovery. Each has a build time and a weekly running cost. The board, the fans and the locker room watch you separately — a bad report card puts your seat under heat. Let the balance fall past the limit and you cannot take the floor until you sell.

TWENTY-ONE SEASONS

A career that runs from 2026 to 2046. Awards night, an all-league five, a career ledger and prestige. Three save slots, autosave and an offline mode — you can play without an account.

ONLINE LEAGUE

Face real managers. Twenty coaches enter a lobby, a draft deals the rosters and a round plays every 12 hours. Submit your tactics and starting five before tip-off, send your scout out for a report on the next rival, train players around the clock and strike trades that survive league review.

A club newspaper prints after every round — blowouts get the mocking headline they deserve — and the market, facilities and playoffs run across multiple seasons up to the hall of honor.

Eight languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino.

Free to play, no in-app purchases. The app shows a few ads at natural breaks — never during a match; rewarded ads are always optional.
