What it is

Grow an off-world colony, balance production and trade, survive as long as you can.

IRATA - Space Colony is a turn-based survival strategy game set on the frontier world Irata-2. Grow an off-world colony, balance production and trade, and survive as many turns as you can. There is no final victory—only how long you can last before the burden becomes too great.

YOUR MISSION

Build industry, feed your colonists, and keep credits in the black while upkeep climbs with population and time. Each run is a fresh attempt to beat your best survival record.

EXPAND ON A HEX MAP

The map centers on your Command Post. Claim adjacent plots to push your frontier outward. Farther plots cost more to maintain, so develop nearby land first. Six terrain types favor different industries—wetlands for food, dustplains for power, ironpeaks for ore, and more.

MANAGE RESOURCES

Track food, ore, energy, credits, and crystite from the HUD. Shortages cut output; energy cannot be traded and must be covered every turn. Trade food and ore on the local market—prices move with your buying and selling. Crystite is priced by off-world demand and becomes a steady income once essentials are secure.

GROW YOUR WORKFORCE

Population limits how many buildings you can staff. Strong food production drives growth; shortages stall expansion or shrink your colony.

BUILD AND PLAN

• Agri-Dome — food (upkeep: ore, energy)

• Power Array — energy (upkeep: ore)

• Drill Rig — ore (upkeep: ore, energy)

• Crystite Extractor — crystite from surveyed deposits (upkeep: ore, energy, crystite)

Survey crystite deposits before you build, or risk building blind.

TURN-BASED PLAY

Claim land, construct buildings, and trade during your turn, then tap NEXT TURN to resolve production, upkeep, and random events—from meteor strikes and supply drops to equipment failures and market shocks.

HOW YOU LOSE

• Credits fall below zero

• Population stagnates or declines for too long

Think ahead, expand wisely, and see how long Irata-2 will let you stay.
