Run a rally team through five eras, hiring drivers and building cars to compete in historical championships.
Rally Dynasty is a rally management game by an independent developer, starting in 1973 and rolling on past today. You run one family team through five regulation eras — hiring drivers, building cars, managing exact money and real time — while heirs inherit the team when a driver retires or dies.
It is unofficial and unlicensed, in the spirit of the classic World Rally Championship decades. Platforms: PC (web/Steam) and Android.
THE ROAD IS THE OPPONENT
You never touch the wheel. You choose the programme, the car, the crew and the tyres, and then you live with it. Pace is exact and stated in seconds. Danger is never a percentage — it is a sentence, because that is how it is actually known.
FIFTY-FOUR SEASONS,
AND THE RULES CHANGE UNDER YOU
1973 opens with a championship for makes, not drivers. Group B arrives, and then it is banned. Central service parks end roadside repairs. Pace notes arrive at the RAC in 1990. Mousse tyres come and go. Every one of those changes is modelled from the record and dated, not averaged into a vague retro feel.
THE TEAM IS PEOPLE,
AND PEOPLE AGE
Drivers improve with competitive kilometres and plateau at their potential. They peak, they decline, they get hurt, and sometimes they are killed — at the rate the era actually killed them. A dead driver's seat opens. The record stands.
ONE FAMILY,
HALF A CENTURY
When the head of the team retires or dies, the dynasty passes to an heir or to a brother. The name on the entry list stays; the person behind it does not. A campaign is not a career — it is a lineage.
EXACT ON MONEY
Gearboxes cost £200,000 because they did. Entry fees, travel, freight, wages, sponsor retainers and prize money are all period figures, in period currency, and the ledger shows you every one of them.
BUILT FOR A PHONE
One tap runs a weekend. Take the season stage by stage if you want to feel it, or let it run itself and read the results. It works offline. There is no account and no sign-in, and the save never leaves your device.
PLAY IT YOUR WAY
Five interface languages. Light paper or the dark rally board. Reduced motion and colourblind presets.
WHAT IS OPEN,
AND WHAT IS NOT
Two full careers — one starting in 1973, one starting in 2017 — and three seasons, at no cost. Nothing is held back and nothing is switched off; you simply run out of seasons. The rest of the century is one payment, once. There is no subscription, there are no adverts, and there is no in-game currency.
Historical team names and liveries include period sponsors, some of them tobacco and alcohol brands. They appear as they did on the cars.
Rally Dynasty is not associated with, endorsed by, or affiliated with the FIA or the WRC.
